Dawn R. Tezino

Dawn R. Tezino represents corporate clients in cases involving labor & employment litigation defense, worker’s compensation, workplace investigations, insurance defense, premise and product liability and breach of contract claims. Her experience includes complex litigation in both state and federal courts in Texas and Louisiana, as well as appeals in Texas appellate courts and the United States Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit.

 Ms. Tezino is a cum laude graduate of the Loyola University School of Law, New Orleans, Louisiana, where she was designated as William Crowe Scholar. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude from the University of Houston. She is licensed to practice law in Texas and Louisiana, and she is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the State Bar of Louisiana. Ms. Tezino has served in various leadership positions in the State Bar of Texas, including Past Chair of the Standing Committee on Racial Diversity in the Legal Profession and Past Board Member of the African American Lawyer’s Section. She has served on the Jefferson County Young Lawyer’s Association Board and is a graduate of Leadership Beaumont. Ms. Tezino also served as the past Chair of the NBA Commercial Law Section and as a past Board Member on the NBA Board of Governors. She has received the NBA Presidential Award for Outstanding Service in the Legal Community as well as previously being named a “Texas Rising Star” for several years in Texas Monthly magazine.
